Organizing a Food-Freak

While everyone else is sitting in front of the t.v. watching football today, I've surrounded myself with recipe print-outs and food magazines. They're starting to pile up and it's driving me crazy. Categories range from 'restaurants to visit' to 'cheesy recipes'. I've already observed the fact that I haven't made even an eighth of these recipes, so I have some work to do this year. I probably won't get done with this today, but it's a good start!

What food resolutions have you made for 2012?

My resolution is to try a new recipe for dinner at least three times per week, and buy one item I have not used in a year or more each time I buy groceries. Wish me luck!

Mine is a little less exciting... but I hope to use the items in my freezer and especially my pantry that have all celebrated birthdays. Which would also help me utilize my new kitchen to it's newly created potential.

Using up older items is always a fun time. The challenge of coming up with something to eat without a recipe is the best!
